Venue Museo Reina Sofía Sabatini and Nouvel Building

Monday to Saturday: 10 AM–9 PM
Sunday: 10 AM–7 PM (2:30–7 PM, Collections 1 & 2)
Tuesday: Closed (including holidays)

Ticket offices close fifteen minutes before closing time. Visitors are kindly asked to clear the galleries 15 minutes before the Museum closes.

Train
Come to the Museo Reina Sofía by train. The museum is within walking distance from the Atocha-RENFE Train Station.
Metro
Come to the Museum by metro on lines:
Line 1 (station: Atocha)
Line 3 (station: Lavapiés)
Buses
Come to the Museum by bus. Several City Bus routes stop near the Museum.
Bicycle Racks
Come to the Museum by bike and park at one of three bicycle racks:
At the Plaza Nouvel entrance on either side of the Sabatini Building entrance

Three public parking structures are located nearby:

Special Dates
All Museum spaces (Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, Palacio de Cristal and Palacio de Velazquez) will be closed on the following dates:
  • January 1 and 6
  • May 1 and 15
  • November 9 (Palacio de Cristal and Palacio de Velázquez will be open)
  • December 24, 25 and 31
